Portfolio
The handbook focuses on Prevention and enhanced coordination of SBGV at community level to promote access to services by GBV survivors as central efforts to eradicate and remove the root causes of gender-based violence.
It has been designed to provide basic understanding of Gender Based Violence, its consequences, risk factors that perpetuate GBV within community and various multi-sectoral players involved in tackling incidences of GBV.
The handbook is intended for use by community GBV champions who can be Community Health Workers (CHW), youth peer supporters, community leaders, village elders, or organizations that provide gender or human right education programs in non-formal learning settings as pathways to guide activities initiated by staff towards preventing and addressing gender-based violence.
